Popular during the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras but was discontinued in the mid-1930s. gold and the design is striking with rope chains terminating in pointed needles over a bulbous egg shaped base. They look amazing when worn as they move beautifully. The Victorians were so inventive and these earrings are certainly a great example of what was made. They are as wearable today as they were over one hundred and fifty years ago.
