Edwardian 18ct Gold, Platinum & Diamond Target Ring

224/O
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a truly beautiful ring in lovely condition. It was made circa 1900-1910 and has been set with lovely bright white and well matched diamonds. The centre stone is 40 points with a total weight of 1.40 carats. The platinum has been millgrained which means that the edges have been worked using a knurling tool to create small round grains, hence the French word “millgrain” which means a “thousand grains”. It is an impressive look, and would be ideal as an engagement ring.
