A pretty marquise shaped silver ring that was made circa 1940-1950. It has been set with a marquise shaped Wedgwood plaque of a Neo-Classical subject, a lady and a cherub. It is framed by marcasite (iron pyrites). Marcasite is similar to rose diamonds in that each marcasite is rose cut and has a subtle glitter.
