Retro Silver Gilt & White Enamel Necklace by Albert T Scharning

367R
Written by Olly Gerrish

Albert T Scharning was a jewellery designer working in Oslo, Norway. He died in the 1950s. His pieces are well designed and this necklace is a good example of his work. It is gilded silver with translucent white enamel over an etched silver design of kisses and trios of dots beneath. It is typical of the 1940s fashion that also reflects in the textiles of that period. It looks wonderful when worn.
