Retro 14ct Gold Crescent Ring set with an Aquamarine & Diamonds

729U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A 14ct gold ring that is quite hard to date but my feeling is that it is from the 1940-1950 era.  It is an unusual design with a crescent moon set with a mixture of old mine cut and rose cut diamonds.  Within it is a claw set faceted oval cut aquamarine that has an approximate weight of 3.38 carats.  The crescent moon traditionally means the start of a relationship and the aquamarine represents happiness, hope and everlasting youth. A perfect engagement ring.
