Find Out MoreA very fine example of a Regency brooch that was made circa 1820. It is a beautiful model of a dove holding a sprig in it’s beak. It is two colour green and yellow 15ct gold. The dove’s eyes have been set with small cabochon rubies. On the reverse is a small glazed locket. Saint Esprit, as it is known represents the Holy Spirit. Similar examples can be seen in the Hull Grundy collection at the British museum.
