Find Out MoreAn unusual 15ct gold ring that was made in the 1820-1830 period. It is composed of a natural split pearl flower cluster with a rectangular cut ruby in the centre. On either side is a stylised pierced leaf pattern set with graded turquoise. The shank is a concave design. On the reverse is the original glazed locket that would have originally held a lock of hair. The use of the ruby is for “Love”, the pearls are for “Remembrance” and the Turquoise is for “Forget me not” after the flower of the same name. These rings were very popular in the early 19th century and are charming reminders of a bygone age.
