Mid 20th Century Silver & Blue Enamel Bracelet by Volmer Bahner

Danish jeweller Volmer Bahner is known for his modernist and naturalistic enamelled jewellery, which he began creating in his own silver workshop after World War II. A versatile Danish artist and designer, Volmer Bahner (1912–1995) graduated from the College of Art and Industry in 1930. He then formed a company, which he headed until 1988. It was very famous in Denmark. This bracelet dates to around 1950 and is composed of twelve translucent enamelled plaques with a starburst design beneath. .
