Late Georgian 18ct Gold & Black Enamel Ring Set With a Garnet

A striking gold ring that has been set with rectangular cut deep red . The gold repoussee design is typical of 1830s design with roses and stylised leaves on the and black ribs leading on to a ribbed .  It was most likely intended to be a ring but has never been engraved with a name and date.
