Large Late Georgian Seal with Citrine Base on Original Split Ring

675L
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An impressive late Georgian seal that was made circa 1800-1820. It is highly decorated with repoussé work featuring flowers acorns and oak leaves. Set in to the base is a citrine with two initials engraved on it “J B”. It has the original split ring. These rings are sought after in their own right as they can be worn as rings or used to attach other pieces to.
