Gold Dog Brooch by Ford

179C
Written by Olly Gerrish

I always try and find dog jewellery, especially if it is signed on the reverse by the artist. This brooch is hand painted by William Ford who was well known in his day, and painted lots of different animals. The enamel is mounted in 15ct gold and it was made in 1867.
