Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Ring

561P
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A spectacular Georgian ring that was made circa 1780-1800. It has an 18ct gold shank and a silver top. It has a pinch set collet containing a large foil-backed rose cut diamond with radiating crescents on either side set with graded sparkling rose diamonds. There is a similar example to this ring in the marvellous and informative book entitled Georgian Jewellery and written by Olivia Collings and Ginny Redington Dawes.

Ollys Pick
