Georgian Rose Diamond Cluster Ring

929R
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual Georgian ring that was made circa 1820. It has been set with seven large rose cut diamonds within silver cut down pinched settings. The outer edge is a scalloped design. The shoulders are trifurcated with pretty detail on the gold and silver. The shank is typical of the late Georgian period with gentle swirls. It may be of Dutch origin as the construction is not an English design.
