A beautiful 18ct gold locket that was made circa 1820. It has been engraved on both sides with a detailed hobnail design and has a ribbed edge. The whole effect is quite contemporary and it is hard to believe that this locket was made in the late Georgian period. Inside is a coiled lock of hair with gold wire detail.
