Georgian 15ct Gold, Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

381W
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A gorgeous ring that was made circa 1820-1830. It is composed of a cluster of diamonds with the largest open backed cushion cut diamond in the centre. It weighs approximately three quarters of a carat. The stones are all set in cut down silver settings. and the trifurcated shank is made up of three engraved leaves. When worn it sits low on the finger so it would be a practical ring to wear on a daily basis.  A perfect and unusual engagement ring.

Ollys Pick

Original early diamond cluster rings are so hard to find nowadays and this ring is a wonderful example.
