French Art Deco Silver, Haematite & Marcasite Ring

723E
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stylish Art Deco French silver ring that was made circa 1920-1930. It is set with eight marcasites (iron pyrites) and a rectangular emerald cut haematite in the centre. Haematite is the mineral form of iron oxide and is said to be the stone of attraction. Apparently if you wear a piece it is said to bring out your confidence and draw admirers to you!
