French Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Cluster Ring with a Large Centre Diamond

107U
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a wonderful Art Deco ring that was made in France circa 1920. It has been bezel set with an old mine cut diamond that has an approximate weight of 1.25 carats. On either side are two bezel set old mine cut diamonds and above and below are smaller diamonds that form the cluster. There is millegrain detail throughout that gives the ring that extra special look. The ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the diamonds are natural stones (colour approx G-tinted / clarity approx VS-SI2) with an estimated total weight of 2.15 carats. It curves beautifully around the finger and sits low so it would make a fabulous engagement ring.
