Written by Olly Gerrish

The armistice was signed on the  11th of November 1918 that officially ended fighting on land sea and air between the Entente and Germany after the first World War.  It marked the victory for the allies and a defeat for Germany.  This 18ct gold and platinum flag brooch is dated on the reverse 11.11.18 and would have been presented to mark the Victory. It has been set with rose diamonds and calibre cut rubies with an enamelled English flag.
