Edwardian Platinum, Two Stone Diamond Crossover Ring with Diamond Set Shoulders

684U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty platinum ring with a platinum top that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been claw set with two old mine cut diamonds in a cross over design. There are further small diamonds set in to the shoulders. At that time the influence of the Art Nouveau style was manifesting itself in furniture and textiles. Jewellery also adopted the sinuous style that was typical of the period. This ring would make a lovely engagement ring.
