Edwardian Platinum Ring set with a Peridot with Diamond Set Shoulders

969X
Written by Olly Gerrish

If you love peridots then this ring could be for you. It is platinum and was made circa 1900-1910. It has been claw set with a beautiful oval cut apple green peridot that has an estimated weight of  3.39 carats. On either side are three small diamonds that sweep up to join the peridot.

Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It is also the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage.

It would make an amazing dress or engagement ring.
