Edwardian 18ct White Gold, Diamond & Peridot Oval Cluster Ring

897N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A really pretty ring that was made in France circa 1910-1920. It has been set with a two carat peridot with fourteen well matched white diamonds around it. Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. It is also the birthstone for the month of August and is the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear either as an engagement or dress ring.
