Edwardian 18ct Gold Snake Ring set with a Diamond in it’s Head

62W
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful 18ct gold snake ring that was made circa 1900-1910. It wraps around the finger and the tail flicks under the head. In the head is a transition cut diamond. Snake rings were very popular in the GeorgianVictorian and Edwardian periods as they represented “Eternal love and wisdom”. It is quite a large size so can be worn by either sex.

I love snake rings and every one that we come across is different to others that we have had!
