Edwardian 18ct Gold, Sapphire & Rose Diamond Open Cluster Ring

761N
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual gold and ring that was made circa 1900-1910. In the centre is a Royal blue oval surrounded by fourteen rose diamonds. Around the cluster is an oval ring of rose diamonds interspersed with four sapphires. Rose diamonds have a subtle glint quite unlike diamonds and look especially lovely when seen in a candle lit setting. The rose diamonds are in platinum settings and the sapphires are in 18ct gold settings. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear.
