Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum Two Stone Diamond Crossover Ring with Diamond Set Shoulders

319N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct gold ring with a platinum top that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been set with two quarter of a carat diamonds in a cross over design. There are further small diamonds set in to the shoulders. At that time the influence of the Art Nouveau style was manifesting itself in furniture and textiles. Jewellery also adopted the sinuous style that was typical of the period. This ring is a good example and would make a lovely engagement ring.
