Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Diamond & Ruby Crossover Ring

847S
Written by Olly Gerrish

A good example of a typical Edwardian crossover ring that was made in the early 1900s. It is 18ct gold with a platinum top. The ruby is a stunning colour and the diamond is a very clear bright white stone. Both claw set stones are flanked by graduated diamonds in an Art Nouveau flowing style. The fluted shank feeds well in to the shoulders. It is very pretty when worn and would make a beautiful engagement ring.
