Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Diamond Cluster Ring

216L
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty diamond cluster ring that was made circa 1900-1915. It has an 18ct yellow gold shank with a platinum top. There is a twenty point diamond in the centre, that is slightly raised, with smaller diamonds around it. On the outside edge it has been millgrained. Millgrain is a row of tiny beads along the edge or boundary of a section of jewellery achieved by using a knurling tool and is a nice detail to have on this ring. It would make a lovely engagement ring.
