Edwardian 18ct Gold, Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring

338W
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been set with six oval well matched cabochon cut opals with a diamond in the centre. Around the opals is a border of small diamonds.  The shoulders are an unusual scroll design. This style was very popular in the early 1900s and rings similar to this one were set with different gemstones. They are hard to find nowadays so I was pleased to source this one. it can be worn on a daily basis and sits low on the finger so it is practical to wear
