Edwardian 18ct Gold Knot Ring

631R
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual gold knot ring that was made in Birmingham in 1909. It has a close knot design in the centre with openwork on either side with further detail. Knot rings were really commitment rings in the early 1900s meaning that “you are tied to me”, so it could be given as an engagement ring. It is wearable on an every day basis.
