Edwardian 18ct Gold Horseshoe, Stirrup & Crop Tie Pin

580U
Written by Olly Gerrish

In the early 1900s hunting was very popular and it was the fashion to wear a tie pin on your stock.  This 18ct gold tie pin is an excellent example of the type of pin that would have been worn as it features a horseshoe, a stirrup and a riding crop. It has been beautifully made with attention to fine detail. The crop and horseshoe are 18ct yellow gold and the stirrup is white gold.  Nowadays these pins are worn on lapels and look the part in a different way.

All our tiepins come with a stopper at the end of the pin.
