Edwardian 18ct Gold Gypsy Ring set with a Diamond

379U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A smart 18ct gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1902.  It has been set with an old cut diamond within a star setting. It is called a gypsy ring because of the lucky star setting around the stone. This style of ring would have been given as a token of esteem, literally meaning that “You are the star in my life”.
