Edwardian 18ct Gold Double Snake Ring set with Diamonds

187U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A large 18ct gold ring that features two entwined snakes.  Each of the snake’s heads have been set with graduated old mine cut diamonds.  Snake rings were popular in the GeorgianVictorian and Edwardian eras and signify the union of two people in eternal love.  This ring was made in Chester in 1908.  It is quite a large size so it can easily be worn by a man as a wedding band
