A really charming strawberry enamel heart locket that was made circa 1900-1910.  It is 15ct gold and has been set with a diamond in the centre. It has been enamelled in translucent enamel on both sides and shows the pretty engraved design beneath. Engraved inside is “Always affectionate friend” and there is a compartment for a photograph, so it was originally given as a token of love. It is as appropriate now as it was over one hundred years ago to give to a loved one.
