Edwardian 15ct Gold, Peridot & Natural Split Pearl Bracelet

811P
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a really beautiful bracelet that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been so well designed and is typical of the superb workmanship of the early 1900s. It consists of three well matched rectangular cut peridots that are surrounded by natural split pearls. In between are articulated links set with further natural split pearls. There are further pearls set in to the gate links that go around the bracelet. Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It is also the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage
