A lovely 15ct gold novelty brooch, as they are called, of a mouse (or rat!) eating a pearl. The mouse is 15ct gold and sits on a 9ct gold bar brooch. It was made circa 1900-1910 when Novelty pieces were all the rage. It has a safety chain for extra security in case he runs away!
