Edwardian 15ct Gold, Diamond & Peridot Necklace

980L
Written by Olly Gerrish

An extremely pretty 15ct gold necklace with seventeen drops set with peridots. Above each one is a small rose diamond. Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It is also the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. This style of necklace is so pretty to wear. It was made circa 1900-1915 and is as wearable now as it was then.
