Edwardian 14ct Gold, Yellow Sapphire & Diamond Ring

718N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful and unusual gold ring that was made circa 1900-1915 and is most likely of Austrian origin. The yellow is a lovely mid to palish yellow colour and is highlighted by two small diamonds on either side within a pierced setting. Yellow sapphires are highly precious, yellow coloured gemstones of the Corundum mineral family. They are one of the most recognised gemstones in vedic astrology worn for professional success, marital bliss, improved will power and healthy progeny. So what a wonderful engagement ring it would make.
