Early Victorian 15ct Gold, Blue Enamel & Natural Split Pearl Ring

581N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A sweet gold ring that was made circa 1840. It has been set with a split in a star setting. Around it is blue . The literal meaning of the pearl within the star setting is that “You are an eternal star” and the turquoise enamel represents the colour of the flower “Forget me not” meaning precisely that.
