Early 20th Century Sapphire & Diamond Oval Cluster Ring

782U
Written by Olly Gerrish

This ring is fantastic and was most likely made in Belgium and imported in to France. It was made in the Belle Epoque circa 1910-1920 and has been designed as a double cluster design. It has been set with a beautiful oval cut mid blue colour sapphire. Around it are diamonds within a millegrained band. Then there is another oval circle of diamonds on a slightly lower level within scalloped settings. There is also a diamond set in to each of the shoulders. The top is platinum and the shank is 18ct gold. It would make a beautiful engagement ring.
