Early 20th Century Platinum, Three Stone Diamond Cluster Ring by Alabaster & Wilson

740U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A pretty platinum and diamond ring that was made by Alabaster and Wilson circa 1910-1920. For more than 100 years, Alabaster & Wilson Ltd were based in Birmingham and closed in 2018. They symbolised expert craftsmanship and the manufacture of very fine jewellery in England and have made high quality pieces for many of the leading jewellery companies such as Cartier. The design is unusual with three diamonds across the centre and curved diamond set outer bands above and below with overlapping diamond set shoulders. It would make a lovely engagement ring.
