Early 20th Century French Import 18ct Gold & Platinum, Tiara Ring set with a Sapphire & Diamonds

802X
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made circa 1900-1910 and is most likely of Belgian origin and was then  imported in to France. This lovely regal ring evokes a crown or tiara in design and was a fashionable design in the early 1900s. It has been claw set with one pear shaped  natural sapphire with two pear shaped old mine cut diamonds below the sapphire and an old mine cut diamond in the centre and further diamonds on the curved shoulders.

This is such a special ring and looks beautiful when worn.
