Early 20th Century French 18ct Gold Bracelet set with Six Diamonds

567W
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct gold bracelet that was made in France circa 1900-1910.  The era is known as the Belle Epoque period. “Belle Époque”literally means “Beautiful era” and is the name used for the period 1871-1914 in France. It was a time of beauty and frivolity after the rigours of the Franco-Prussian war and ended with the onset of World War 1.

This bracelet has been set with six transition cut diamonds within ovoid sections with leaf motifs and tiny platinum touches. It has a hidden tongue clasp with an added safety chain for extra security. It is wearable day and night.
