Early 20th Century 18ct White Gold & Platinum Diamond Cluster Ring

283U
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct white gold ring with a platinum top that has been set with seven evenly matched diamonds in scalloped settings. This gives the ring a lovely profile. They are very bright stones and have an approximate weight of 1.35 carats. It was made in 1939 as this ring has the original documentation of the sale from the jeweller Richard Nevill to Mr Smith. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
