Early 20th Century Austro- Hungarian 14ct Gold Signet Ring with Onyx Intaglio of a Crest with Two Hearts

853R
Written by Olly Gerrish

A good well carved heavy gage 14ct gold sardonyx intaglio signet ring featuring a detailed crest of a gauntlet holding a feather with a coronet beneath over two hearts. It is comfortable to wear and a smart look. It was made in Austro – Hungary circa 1910-1920. The Austro Hungarian Empire started in 1867 and dissolved in 1919 following the end of the World War I. Its hallmarks ended in 1922. This ring must have many stories to tell!
