Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum, Plique A Jour, Diamond & Natural Split Pearl Ring

609S
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely gold ring with a top that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been set with small diamonds with a central bouton . The background is , a French term that translates to “letting in the daylight” and defines a type of transparent that has no backing. The effect is like a stained glass window, the design has a metal outline filled with a soft green transparent enamel. This ring is not large but has plenty of pretty detail.
