Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum, Emerald & Diamond Ring

863W
Written by Olly Gerrish

We always love buying these plaque rings as they are stylish, sit low on the finger and are very flattering to wear. This ring is a good example and was made circa 1910-1920. In the centre is a beautiful clear green emerald cut emerald. On either side are two small square cut emeralds. It just predates the Art Deco period as although it is a geometric design it still has the attention to fine detail of the Edwardian period with scalloped edging and millgrained settings.
