Early 20th Century 18ct Gold French Import Crossover Ring set with Two Diamonds

406X
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is such a pretty ring that was made circa 1910-1920 and was imported in to France. The shank is 18ct gold and the top is platinum. It is in the crossover style that was popular at that time as the Art Nouveau botanical style endured until 1920 when a more geometric style took over. It has been claw set with two large old European cut  diamonds that are a high colour. The shoulders have also been claw set with small diamonds.

It would make a perfect engagement ring.

This ring is accompanied with a gemmological certificate that states that the diamonds are old European cut stones and weigh one carat and 1.10 carats approximately.
