471U
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful and cluster ring that was made circa 1910-1920. The emerald is a soft green colour and has been set in gold which is a beautiful touch as it warms the stone. The emerald is surrounded by 12 well matched diamonds that weigh approx. The diamonds are set in . There are also two diamonds set in the . There is a milgrain detail throughout which shows the extra level of attention that jewellers of this time paid to their pieces. The is made from 18ct gold and has an eagle head which is the French mark for 18ct gold. Although emeralds are fairly brittle stones, this ring sits low on the finger so would make a beautiful engagement ring as well as a stunning dress ring.
