A rare pair of 18ct rose and white gold cufflinks made by Cartier (Paris) for Elizabeth 11’s Coronation in 1953. They depict the four national flowers from the United Kingdom. England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are represented by the rose, the shamrock, the thistle and the daffodil respectively. The case is the original Cartier Paris case with the printed cream silk & gold Cartier interior.
