Belgian 19th Century 18ct Gold Signet Ring set with a Bloodstone

249T
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold signet ring that was most likely made in Belgium and imported in to France in the 1860-1880 period.  It has been beautifully made with fine engraved detail to the pierced and coiled shoulders and around the bloodstone. The shank is a fluted design. It sits low on the finger and can be worn by either a man or a woman.
