Art Nouveau 18ct Gold & Silver Flower Motif Ring set with a Garnet

21W
40 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold and silver ring that is most likely of Austrian origin and was made circa 1910. In the centre is an oval cut almandine garnet within a gold setting. Around it are seven silver flowers with gold centres. The 18ct gold shank continues the floral theme with stylised leaves on the shoulders and around the gallery.  This was typical of the Art Nouveau botanical style. It is a highly detailed and very pretty ring.
